Another excellent instalment in the Wielder's lineup. Funny and well written...Bravo sir. Blah blah blah awesome blah blah read it.
Rating 2.5 I have to say that I was really disappointed in this Wielders novel. The sly and witty humor so in evidence in past stories turns into the worst sort of potty humor in this one--I have never seen the word "t*rds" used so many times in a book. Tan's actions also are played as slapstick humor a great deal, with lots of pratfalls and some banana slippage. Tan comes off a lot less competent than previous books as well. One positive point is getting to meet another Wielder (not to be spoilerish but I wanted to interject something I thought would be a draw). Based on the strength of the series thus far, I still eagerly look forward to the next book and trust that this was just an aberration.
